Fabrizio Càrola

Graduated from the "La Cambre" National Higher School of Architecture in Brussels, in 1972 he began his training as an architect - builder. His African experience leads him to relate to the built, paying great attention to materials, the economy and the environment. With the reworking of the Nubian compass faces new frontiers, a new architecture without limits of orthogonality opens the curtain of new bioclimatic knowledge and presents itself to zoomorphic forms. In 2012 he founded Studio2111 with the architects Luigi di Pietro and Stefania Vestuto

_ Mediterranean Award for Architecture , 2005 _UIA (international architects' union) for the activities carried out in Africa

_ International architecture prize "Vassilis Sgoutas" awarded by the International Union of Architects (UIA), Tokyo 2011

_ Global Award for Sustainable Architecture , Paris 2008

_ The RIBA's 2013 International Fellowships , London 2013.
